Some dogs are born on the street, some grow up with their owners. But both may one day end up in a shelter. Sometimes it becomes a step into a new carefree life. Let’s share the stories of dogs who once found themselves in a shelter, endured a lot of hardship, but still found their happiness.!
Elderly Orange with a “human” look
Pet dog Orange lost his owner when he was almost 10 years old. Longing for a loved one, he had to live in the entryway. But one day the pet was spotted and brought to a shelter. There was little chance that anyone would take the elderly dog.
The staff at the shelter were not surprised when a girl came to walk Orange… and drove back. And Orange didn’t seem to care. However, two years later this girl returned, and then began to visit the pet regularly. It turned out that she had noticed the dog the first time – remembered his special “human” look.
And now, when she saw Orange again, she realized that she could not leave him in the shelter: The dog was sick, looked bad, withdrawn into himself. The girl decided to take him away. Her parents were against it – she had to move out. But now Orange lives with her mistress and feels fine, and her parents eventually accepted the pet.
Matiz escaped from help
ne winter, a group of women accidentally saw a small black dog jump out onto the road right under the wheels of a car. They immediately ran to the animal to help – but the dog turned out to be either very tough or too shocked and ran away. They tried to find him, but failed. It wasn’t until the next day that they were able to do so.
The women accidentally spotted the dog in the grass, only with a bandaged leg. This time the dog could not escape and was rushed to the shelter.
There we found out that Matiz suffered a fracture of the lower leg. The animal was fitted with a special construction to repair the bone. And although Matiz could hardly move, he remained affectionate and friendly. When the course of treatment was over, one of the female helpers decided to take the pet into her family. Such an unexpected encounter on the road.
