She’s very good!
When Gabi Shull was just 9 years old, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that had formed on her knee. The cancer was discovered through X-rays after Gabi was injured skating.
It seemed that the girl would never be able to do ballet again, but now she is 15 years old and can dance gracefully thanks to her rotational plastique.
When Gabi was only 9 years old, doctors had to amputate part of her leg because of cancer.
But that couldn’t stop the young ballerina from continuing to dance.
It was made possible by a revolutionary surgery known as rotaplasty.
Surgeons only removed the cancer-affected knee, putting part of the shin back in a 180-degree rotation.
It was this measure that allowed the girl to wear a prosthesis and dance almost as gracefully as before
An amazing girl whose courage and determination are truly worthy of respect
Gabi’s leg without a prosthesis, her story and, of course, her dancing .
