After working as a foreign language teacher for most of her life, Annegret Raunigk from Germany retired. When she had a lot of free time, the mother of thirteen children suddenly realized that she wanted to have another child.
The fact is that her youngest daughter Leila at that time was already 9 years old, and the woman again wanted to hear a baby laughing, making the first steps in his life. To feel like a mother for the 14th time, the 65-year-old pensioner decided to resort to medicine.
They did not dare to do such procedures in Germany at such an age, so in 2014, Annegret went to a clinic in Ukraine. After a series of tests, specialists set a date for the upcoming event.All the procedures were successful, Annegret got pregnant and returned home to Berlin.
At the 21st week of pregnancy she underwent an ultrasound scan, which showed that instead of one child, four would come into the world!
And this news made her at least four times happier. She immediately rushed to please her older children, sending them a photo of the ultrasound result. In 2015, Annegret had quadruplets – three boys and one girl.
The addition to the family came early, so the babies spent several months in the clinic before going to the cozy cribs in their roomMother of four children at once at such an advanced age, Annegret immediately became a local celebrity. Major television crews attended most of the “young” mom’s family gatherings.
Realizing that with so many children Annegret would be cramped in her Berlin apartment, she moved to a spacious house in the province…Annegret is now 72 years old, her oldest son is 50, and her younger quadruplets are seven.
Annegret often gives interviews where she says that her babies help her to stay young and beautiful. Next to them she feels 40 years younger. The woman has seven grandchildren, three of whom are about the same age as her children. Together they often go for walks in the park and visit entertainment centers.
Although there are no recent photos of Annegret, the German media still frequently mention the woman’s name in their publications and claim that all is well with the large family!
