Su went to the zoo, but they demanded a birth certificate for the animal. Without documentation, they could not accept the animal.
So he contacted the Yilian Forest Protection Bureau to get the proper papers and to release the bear. At that time, the bear was already about 1 meter tall at the withers and weighed about 200 kilograms.
The family had been taking good care of the bear for months. The bear was well fed, healthy, and showed no signs of abuse, which spoke in favor of Su and his family. After examining the animal, ecologists concluded that the animal had been treated with warmth and care.
Otherwise the man would have had to answer to the law.As a result, the bear was sedated and taken to a wildlife protection center, where it was monitored around the clock, and then released into the wild.
