Some time ago, Lomfontaine installed a hidden camera in his house to find out what his cat was doing while he was at work.
It turned out that the most interesting footage was recorded at night. The video showed what Archie was actually doing when his owner was sinking into a deep sleep.The man was surprised when he started watching the footage.
I find that Archie gets active when I fall asleep. Then my cat takes the opportunity to snuggle gently against me. However, that’s not all!
Lomfontaine says.It’s funny, but every video I recorded at night showed the same thing. I go to sleep and Archie lies down on my chest and then touches my face with his paw. This way he makes sure I’m asleep. Later he snuggles up to me.At night Archie shows the greatest love for his owner!
He almost smothered me with love. Archie has always been a beloved pet and he shows great affection for me when I sleep. That’s nice.I didn’t know my cat had this ritual before. Since I looked at the camera footage, it all became clear. Sometimes I dreamt that someone was strangling me. Perhaps it was Archie lying on top of me.
I watched that footage all night. It was really fun. It’s nice to know what your pet is doing when you’re sleeping.
Archie is a really sweet kitty! I’m glad he loves me as much as I love him. It makes me feel good that at night he wants to be so close to me – it means his heart is close to mine.
