A homeless man named Jose Antonio is a man with a difficult fate. Residents of the city know him, and help him as much as they can. The owners of a local beauty salon were no exception. Celebrating the three-year anniversary of their professional activities, they offered Señor Antonio a free image upgrade.
The tramp accepted the invitation, and the result exceeded all his expectations.Jose is a citizen of Spain, he is 55 years old. He used to work as an electrician, but 25 years ago, due to his deteriorating mental health, he lost his job and fell into depression, finding himself on the street without a livelihood.
For almost a quarter of a century he lived outdoors. Of course, he sometimes managed to find a part-time job and find a roof over his head for a short time, but when money ran out, he went back to vagrancy.When the story of his difficult fate reached the owners of a local beauty salon, they offered him their services. And completely free of charge, since the man was clearly insolvent.
The process of transformation was filmed on camera. The stylist showed professionalism, working with Jose’s grown-out hair, giving it more volume and contrast. Then his beard was refined, and the gray hair was painted over. After the end of the work Jose could not believe his own eyes when estimating the result. From the mirror a well-groomed and rejuvenated man looked at him.
What he saw threw the homeless man into a real stupor, he cried, but quickly pulled himself together and even began to feel proud of his renewed appearance.Since then Jose has not changed his style, which cannot be said about his lifestyle – he changed it fundamentally, having found a permanent job and housing.
Apparently, the change of image really helped Señor Antonio to believe in himself, get rid of depression and start life from scratch. Such a transformation once again proves how important a person’s moral state is, for the improvement of which sometimes only a small service is needed.
