Wesley White was recently kayaking off the coast of Belize when he noticed an animal near a fishing shack on a remote island.
There he found a hungry pup. The dog was skinned but very friendly, calling for people, but there was no one around to help. Wesley had no idea how the dog ended up on a desert island, but he knew he had to rescue the puppy.
But he ran into a problem. He said he only had 36 hours before he had to leave Belize. As soon as he got back to the hotel, people rushed to his aid, bringing him a can of dog food and water, and he called friends to find a vet for the dog.
Wesley took his rescuer, now named Winston, to the mainland to visit the vet, but he was only able to stay for a short time. But Wesley and Winston’s reunion was still a long way off. In mid-January, Wesley had to make the trip from Montana to Dallas.
He thought long and hard about what would happen when he returned from there. But there’s still time until then. If this was interesting, share it with your friends and family!
