We usually think of rescue dogs as large, well-trained animals capable of overcoming any difficulties. However, as life practice shows, any dog can come to the rescue of its owner regardless of its size and physical abilities. So, a little dog named Bubu, which is a mongrel Chihuahua, in a difficult minute, did not lose heart and helped his master to avoid a big trouble. The owner of the pet Bubu is a retired American pensioner Rudy Armstrong, a retired Navy veteran. Together with his pet, he likes to vacation in a house on the water in North Carolina, and that’s where the accident happened: one day the pensioner felt that the body refuses to serve him – first an arm, then a leg.
At that moment only Bubu was with him, who immediately realized that something was wrong with his master. His hands were so disobedient that he could not hold the telephone receiver. And then he asked Bubu to call for help to the dock captain Kim, who was a mutual friend of theirs.Bubu obeyed her master’s order, she ran to the dock and found Kim. Because the dog was acting strangely, the woman immediately knew something was wrong. Normally Bubu greeted Kim cheerfully with barking and jumping, but this time she just looked at her as if trying to say something, and then ran toward the houseboat. Kim followed her and found Rudy lying on the floor, he appeared to be having a stroke.
The woman immediately called an ambulance and the pensioner was taken to the hospital. Bubu remained in Kim’s care, and later they visited Armstrong in the hospital together.Because Rudy was quickly hospitalized, medics were able to restore him to health. With a stroke, it is very important to start treatment as early as possible to avoid severe consequences in the form of paralysis of certain parts of the human body. So we can consider that the tiny dog saved his owner’s life by calling for help in time.
The reunion at the hospital was a joyful encounter between dog and owner that touched both doctors and patients. It was obvious that Rudy and Bubu sincerely missed each other. Soon the pensioner was discharged from the hospital and returned to his old life. Now he and Bubu are doing well.
