Less than 3 years ago, Quaden Bales’ mom posted a heartbreaking video of her boy crying because his classmates were making fun of him. At the time, Quaden had no idea the video would change his life. Today, the 12-year-old boy, who hasn’t even gone to high school yet, is about to become a big star. Soon he could be seen in a blockbuster starring Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth.
Quaden was born in Australia. He has a type of dwarfism known as achondroplasia. The world was able to learn about this boy after his mother posted a video of Quaden crying in 2020. The video of the boy crying in the backseat of a car and complaining about his classmates who bullied him because of his disease went viral. In addition to ordinary people, some Hollywood stars also watched the video.
They felt inspired by the boy’s story and supported him. For instance, Quaden’s compatriot, the Australian actor Hugh Jackman, published a video message on Twitter and told the boy he had a friend in his person. The actor also supported the boy and said that he is stronger than he thinks. After the baton of declarations of love to the boy was taken over by fellow actor Hugh Jackman.
Oscar-winning director George Miller has decided to give Quaden a role in his blockbuster “Furiosa”, which will be the fifth film in the “Mad Max” franchise. The film, which is expected to be released in May 2024, will star actor Chris Hemsworth and actress Anya Taylor-Joy.
Amid this happy news, the boy posted on his social media that he was looking forward to the film’s release and wanted to see himself on the big screen. In fact, the boy has already made his film debut. Previously, the same Miller took him for the role of an extra in the film “Three Thousand Years of Wishes.” There he played on the same set with no less star than Hemsworth Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.
