Sometimes children at school can be very cruel to their peers. They have a very hard time accepting children who are different in some way into their circle. That is why it is very difficult for autistic children to make friends.
So, sixth-grader Bo Paske used to have lunch alone. He is autistic and has difficulty getting along with other children. His mother more than once shared on social networks that she was very concerned about this fact. The woman noted that Bo was not reacting as keenly to the fact that he had no friends because of his disorder, but if the boy had a mate, it would be easier for him to fit in with his environment. That all changed one day.
One Tuesday, several athletes were visiting Tallahassee High School when one of the players, receiver Travis Rudolph, approached Paska and asked if he could join him at the table. A friend of the boy’s mother captured the sweet moment on camera and texted her, “Travis Rudolph is having lunch with your son. “Leah Paske’s response was amused, “Who is that?”
But tears flowed when she learned he was a famous soccer player. “I’m not sure exactly what made this incredibly kind man share the dinner table with my son, but I’m happy to report that it won’t soon be forgotten,” she wrote online.
And Beau was very excited and unspeakably happy. His mother added: “On this day, I didn’t have to worry about my sweet boy eating lunch alone because he was sitting across from a man who is a hero in the eyes of many. “Rudolph went even further and offered the family his cell phone number in case Bo ever needed to talk and then invited them to come and meet the whole team.
Now the family is fans of the soccer player for life. And at the dinner table with Bo the other guys started eating, the occasion made the right impression. We have to say that Travis’ action really changed the little boy’s life, and thank him very much for that.
