Hello, everyone! We have previously explored the origins of visual puzzles, noting that various countries worldwide contributed to their invention. Based on our observations, this cultural phenomenon was particularly prevalent in France, England, Italy, and, notably, Imperial Russia during previous centuries.
Greetings, everyone!
With our extensive expertise in creating, studying, solving, and presenting puzzles daily, we’ve encountered only two instances where we sought help from our subscribers and channel guests. Today marks the third case, presenting a riddle discovered in “Petersburg Newspaper” No. 92 (313) – 1913. Let’s delve into the puzzle.
The scene depicts a room, specifically a bed within it, occupied by a man aged approximately 70-80 years, who still indulges in the bad habit of “smoking in bed.” Beside him is his beloved cat, Duska. However, the artist claims to have concealed the man’s wife within the picture. The challenge is to locate the woman in the room.
We invite you to share your solutions in the comments, as we, despite our efforts, couldn’t discern the correct answer. However, we entertain the assumption, albeit speculative, that the woman might be represented by the features of the pillow.
