Isaac Newton’s Law of Gravitation defines life on our planet. It says that the Earth attracts everything, and it can’t be any other way. But there are places where gravity does not work: here a waterfall flies upward, a huge boulder swings from side to side, but does not fall, and a discarded bottle rushes into the sky.
Mystery Spot.
This unique place, where the laws of physics and gravity do not apply, is located in the U.S. state of California. In ancient times on its territory held their rituals Indian warriors who belonged to the tribe of Ohlone. Mystery Spot occupies an area with a diameter of 46 meters. This anomalous zone was discovered in 1941 and soon became a real attraction for fans of mysticism.
On the territory of the attraction you will witness unusual phenomena. On the slope will be standing skewed hut, its walls distorted, and it seems that it will soon slide down. Here you will not pull up on the horizontal bar in a straight position, only at an angle of 40 degrees. It is as if something is pushing a person forward instead of pulling him down as usual. Balls lowered at an angle do not roll down, but up. Fluids at this point only flow upward. Everything here is placed at an unnaturally distorted angle to the ground.
You can also observe inexplicable visual effects: people in different corners of the hut appear to be smaller, then taller. In the house, you can easily walk up the stairs bolted to the wall. No animals or birds live on the territory of the anomalous zone. Tourists are not recommended to take pets on the tour, as they may behave inadequately and run away.
People often experience dizziness, nausea, feelings of weight loss, and are subjected to optical illusion. Tourists who have already been to the anomalous site claim that no matter how hard they tried to assume an upright position, they were unsuccessful. Because of the distortion of reality perception, people cannot accurately determine the size of objects.
Golden Stone Pagoda
For 2500 years, a huge stone has been hanging over the abyss that has opened up near the Chaitiyo Mountain in Myanmar. No one can explain how the multi-ton boulder has not yet fallen from the precipice. The inhabitants of Myanmar believe that only God’s providence can keep the boulder from falling. For the first time Chaitthiyo Stupa is mentioned in the Burmese chronicles in the 16th century, but the texts, dedicated to the history of the stupa, attribute the creation of a boulder brick to the 5th century BC.
Legend has it that the Buddha once gave a strand of his hair to a hermit monk who met him. Not knowing how best to preserve the priceless relic, the monk turned to the king. It was decided to raise a huge boulder from the bottom of the sea, and from there it was brought by the Nats, the Burmese spirits. At the top of the boulder was built a small pagoda Chaitiyo, where they walled hair Buddha, which is believed to protect the stone from falling.
Many skeptics, seeing the pagoda for the first time, claim that the stone and the rocks beneath it are one and the same. On closer inspection, however, it turns out that the stone is a completely separate entity of a different origin. The boulder can be slightly rocked by two or three people. According to some reports, a rope can be dragged under the rock being roced.
