Today we will talk about the events of 9 years ago. A girl named Karina on a warm July day came with her mother a few dozen kilometers away to the village of Olom to her grandmother. Immediately after her arrival, her mother – her name was Tallina, by the way – had gone out to cut the grass.
It was evening, people were returning home from work and suddenly found the girl’s father and herself missing. After three long days, the man arrived in the village, but was alone. In the same hour, all emergency services were raised to the ears. Rescuers with service dogs combed the taiga square by square, all covered about thirty square kilometers, but all to no avail.
Nine days later in the village suddenly appeared puppy, which on that day apparently ran away with the girl. His name in the local language meant “baby” and he was well known in Oloma. It was painful even to look at him, it was obvious that the dog was frozen, wet, it was not even clean place. The locals remembered that the day of disappearance of the girl and puppy coincided. Immediately the emergency services were activated. And again – square by square, the dogs…
The trail was picked up and three days later Carina was finally found. The girl said she was saved by Naida (the nickname she gave the puppy). Karina told how they slept in each other’s arms, warming themselves against each other. In total the girl spent 12 days in the wilderness. Of course, for a 4-year-old child it was a great challenge, both physically and mentally.
Two years later, journalist Victoria Gabysheva arrived at this place and wrote a number of articles and filmed a report. She met the girl and her mother. After spending time at the scene, being under impression, she wrote a whole book about the events of those days, which, incidentally, what is called takes the heart of readers.Later, the girl with the dog even made a monument, which is now located near the Yakut airport.
No one abandoned Karina; she was given a voucher to a local sanatorium for rehabilitation. Her mother eventually found another husband, with whom she shares her joy and sorrow to this day. They moved to live in Olekminsk. Recently they had a son. Well, our heroine had a slightly different fate. She decided to stay in her small motherland.
She recently turned 12. She enrolled at the local school, where they do advanced ballet. They were waiting for her there. Albina Cherepanova took patronage over her, not by fiat, but by conscience. She was overjoyed when she found out that the girl had passed all the necessary tests and castings and had been accepted. Karina is very happy and hopeful – light, quick, flexible, malleable. The qualities of a true ballerina!
Of course, the girl herself admits that she misses her mother and stepfather. Very happy when she can visit them. Mostly this time is on vacation. During her visits, the faithful dog Naida immediately rushes into the arms, just as she did then, in 2014.
