It often happens that cats that are rescued from the streets and taken in bring their owners not only care and love, but also other help and support.
This story took place in Australia, when Mel Morrow’s son, Paeton, returned from the street one day and brought with him a skinny, scrawny red cat.
And not only he brought it; he wanted to keep it, but his parents disagreed at first, because there were already two cats in the family.Nevertheless, the child finally persuaded his parents and the cat, which was called Mit Ginja Ninja, stayed at home. The next day Mit was taken to the veterinary clinic, checked for diseases and chipped.
Then everyone returned home and began living peacefully together. Paeton, in spite of the presence of other cats in the house, became friends the most with Meat, whom he picked up on the street. So four years passed, and then the worst thing happened. The thing is that right after his 12th birthday, Paeton became seriously ill – he was diagnosed with Burkett’s lymphoma.
He needed a session of chemotherapy. After that session, Paeton came home again, and since then, Mit hasn’t left the boy’s side a single step. Within a few months, the cat was by his side all the time, sleeping on Paeton, purring beside him, massaging the boy with his paws.
This support, love and care were not in vain, and the disease receded.Seven years after these sad events, Mit and Paeton are still together. They are as inseparable friends as before. The cat still tries to spend all his time with his master, who saved him and whom he almost lost. The family is very grateful for the day when the red cat appeared in their home, which, as if the heavens themselves sent to the family.
