Nadia Suleman has done what no one else has done before, which is give birth to eight children at once. She was not married when she had her baby, and she is raising her children without a husband.
It’s hard to believe, but before she had her eight children, she already had six. It is likely that this insane desire to leave behind offspring is due to mental trauma.
The fact is that Nadya had fertility problems from her youth. She got married at 20 and she and her husband tried for several years to have a child, but all in vain. Eventually the couple divorced.
It is not known exactly whether the reason for the divorce was infertility or something else, but Nadya decided that she would never get married again.
And the girl did not plan to give up trying to get pregnant. For some time she tried to treat herself with conservative methods, but when these proved ineffective, Nadia decided on in vitro fertilization.
And it worked. The girl gave birth to her first child in 2001. This was followed by several more pregnancies in a row. As a result, in 30 years Nadya had six children. But even that was not enough for the woman.
It’s hard to say what Suleman thought about when she went to a reproductologist, and it’s not entirely clear why the doctor went to her. But instead of the supposed two, she was implanted twelve embryos, eight of which took root.
The woman decided to carry them all. Pregnancy was hard, but the delivery was successful and the world’s first eight babies were born. So Nadia became a mother of fourteen children. Suleman didn’t have a husband and she had to raise the children together with her mother. It is hard to imagine how much effort and money it takes to raise such children.
And if Suleman had strength, her family had serious problems with money. The benefits provided by the state were not enough, and the woman took any job to feed her children, even the dirtiest one. She also attended various TV shows where she talked about her family, hoping to earn some extra money.
In the end, the woman managed to buy a spacious house where she still lives with her children. By the way, Suleman’s children are very malleable. They study well, go in for sports, and help their mother with household chores.
Almost all of Suleman’s family are vegetarians. They are also believers and regularly attend church. Nadia’s eldest daughter has finished school and wants to study to become a doctor. Nadia herself seems to have found her calling – she works in a psychological support service. Nadia does not regret giving birth to so many children, and her large family is full of love and understanding.
