A very unusual family of four lives in Britain. They themselves do not notice their peculiarity in everyday life, but when they appear in public, they invariably attract the attention of others.
The British family of dad, mom and two children in February 2022 was named by the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest in the world. The lowest in it is the wife of the head of the family – 56-year-old Mrs. Golsworth. Her height is 187 centimeters.
Tom Golsworth, 54, has grown to 198 centimeters, and his father is about to catch up with his children in this regard. The height of 19-year-old Amelie is 190 centimeters, and her 17-year-old brother Daniel – 193 centimeters.
It is worth noting that none of the members of the unusual family does not suffer from gigantism or any other genetic disorders. So it was a coincidence that the two tall people once fell in love, and then gave birth to similarly tall children.
While at home, Vicki, Tom, Amelie, and Danielle do not notice each other’s features. Few people pay attention to them, and when they go out in public one by one. But if this family appears in public in full, they immediately catch the astonished looks of passersby, who are unable to take their eyes off the “living giants”.
Vicki Golsworth told in a recent interview that once when she and her husband were young they had to order a custom-sized bed because both the man and the woman had their legs hanging out of the standard bed.
After their son and daughter grew up, the Golsworths raised the doorways in their home so they wouldn’t constantly bump their heads against them.Difficulties for all members of the tallest family also arise when buying clothes and shoes. 19-year-old Amelie often has to buy men’s suits, since not every store has outfits for girls her height.
It was also not easy for Tom to choose a car for his unconventional family. After a long search and many test drives, Golsworth bought the car Skoda Superb, as it was one of the few models where the tall Vikki, Amelie and Daniel can somehow fit comfortably.
