A Cameroonian man met a small dog, Semper Fidels, and immediately fell in love with him. At the time he was struggling with a serious illness, and the dog became his friend, support and comfort.
And its name translates from Latin as “Always faithful,” which perfectly illustrates the temperament of this dog. This is exactly what the woman had always dreamed of, and at this difficult time in her life, it turned out to be very helpful.
The owner and the husky were inseparable, and their relationship could be called idyllic. But not everything turned out so serene. Cameroon’s health was rapidly deteriorating and he had to go to California for more intensive care.
Unable to take his pet with him, he decided to leave him with a neighbor with whom he shared a room. But then he got a call that his dog was missing. The Cameroonian was heartbroken.
He did everything he could to find his dog. She posted ads everywhere, posted them on social networks, asked friends and acquaintances, but to no avail.
However, the woman did not despair and continued her search. When the search failed, she hired a private detective, and then everything took a very strange turn. The detective suggested that the microchip be double-checked and contacted the Society, which was able to do this online.
There it turned out that the microchip had been reinserted into the dog a year ago without any prior verification.
The purebred husky then decided to sell it online for $200, so it was nowhere to be found. And so there was a touching reunion, during which the woman wasn’t shy about shedding tears when she finally saw her beloved pet.
It turned out that the dog had actually been stolen by the same neighbor, sold, and then told that it had disappeared and that the buyer had added its chip without bothering to check it.
